ABOUT THE Organization

His First Love Music World was born from the vision and passion of Oladoye David Olufemi. This training program started in 2009 in Osogbo Osun State with a week training program which the outcome was massive and produced many instrumentalists on different kinds of instruments. The second edition was extended to two weeks in years 2010 until year 2011 when the 3rd edition was extended to 4 weeks training with massive emergence of new instrumentalists in each edition. At the moment the team has discovered the need to establish this vision in the City of Abuja to reduce the gap of insufficient instrumentalists in the Church and produce more advanced, Godly and disciplined musicians in Nigeria and beyond.

ABOUT THE COORDINATOR

Oladoye David Olufemi

Oladoye David Olufemi is a passionate music educator, worship leader, instrumentalist, and youth mentor with a strong commitment to developing musical talents and advancing music ministry. As the Coordinator of His First Love Music World, he is dedicated to raising a generation of worshippers and music legends through quality music education, mentorship, and practical training.With years of experience in music ministry, choir administration, and leadership development, he has trained and guided young people in vocal music, instrumental performance, and worship ministry. His vision is to empower individuals to maximize their God-given musical potential while cultivating excellence, discipline, creativity, and godly character.A key mission of His First Love Music World is to help churches discover, train, and equip instrumentalists who can effectively support worship and strengthen music ministries. Through structured training programmes, workshops, and mentorship, the organization seeks to bridge the gap in musical skills within churches and raise competent musicians who will serve God with excellence.Through His First Love Music World, Oladoye David Olufemi continues to provide platforms for learning, growth, and musical excellence, inspiring young people and church musicians to use their talents for Kingdom advancement, community transformation, and the glory of God.Motto: Raising a Generation of Worshippers and Music Legends.

Passionate trumpeter with years of experience in music performance and education. Specializing in rich Afrojazz and inspiring Gospel sounds.

Atagozawanyi Zacchaeus Maiwada

I’m a passionate music instructor with one goal: helping people find their voice through sound. Since 2016, I’ve been tutoring students across all brass and woodwind instruments from the bold punch of the trumpet and trombone, to the warm tones of the clarinet, flute, and saxophone.
Music has taken me on the road. I’ve performed different genres in different states across Nigeria, and I’m proud to be a member of several orchestras both within and outside Abuja. Each stage, each rehearsal, each student reminds me why I started.
My roots run deep in The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria. That’s where I first picked up an instrument and learnt discipline, teamwork, and the joy of playing for something bigger than myself. Since then, I’ve kept growing attending music courses and seminars to sharpen my craft and pass on better knowledge to the next generation.
For me, teaching isn’t just about notes on a page.
